Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO), Washington, D.C.; Designated Representative: Emily Wheeler

BIO is the world’s largest trade association representing biotechnology companies, academic institutions, state biotechnology centers and related organizations across the United States and in more than 30 other countries. BIO has nominated Emily Wheeler to serve as their designated representative.

Emily Wheeler is a Director of Infectious Disease Policy at BIO and Director of Working to Fight AMR. Emily engages in the domestic and global AMR stakeholder community and is an active participant in ongoing antimicrobial resistance policy discussions with organizations representing health care providers, patients, public health, scientists, and industry.
