September 9-10, 2026 Public Meeting

The 28th PACCARB public meeting will be in-person on September 9-10, 2026. The focus of this meeting is to explore how microbiome science can support AMR prevention, drive novel interventions, and build public awareness and understanding of microbiome-focused health measures. The meeting will focus on innovative and emerging topics in antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and the microbiome.

Public Participation

Meetings of the PACCARB are open to the public to attend in-person or virtually through the webcast. Registration to attend is not required but is encouraged. Please register at this link to attend the meeting before midnight September 1, 2026.

Attendees may also directly address the council on topics of antimicrobial resistance during public meetings. To provide verbal comments to the PACCARB, register at this link before midnight September 1, 2026. After registering, you will receive additional instructions. Please note that slots are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. 

To provide written comments, please e-mail your comments to CARB@hhs.gov. Written comments must be sent in by midnight September 1, 2026, and should be limited to no more than one page. All public comments received prior to the deadline will be provided to the PACCARB council members.
