June 16, 2026 Public Meeting 

The 27th PACCARB public meeting will be virtually on June 16, 2026.  The focus of the public meeting will be to inform the next iteration of the U.S. National Action Plan on Combating Antibiotic-Resistant Bacteria. This meeting will have an extended written public comment option to allow for more participation and public input on the next iteration of the U.S. National Action Plan on Combating Antibiotic-Resistant Bacteria. You may provide written comments until end of day on June 19, 2026 to CARB@hhs.gov, which will be provided to both the PACCARB and the Federal Inter-Agency Task Force on Combating Antibiotic-Resistant Bacteria.

Public Participation

To provide written comments regarding antimicrobial resistance to the PACCARB, please e-mail your comments to CARB@hhs.gov. Written comments must be sent in by midnight June 19, 2026 and should be limited to no more than one page. All written comments received prior to the deadline will be provided to the PACCARB council members. Written comments regarding the next iteration of the National Action Plan on Combating Antibiotic-Resistant Bacteria will also be provided to the Federal Inter-Agency Task Force on Combating Antibiotic-Resistant Bacteria.
