Share your ideas and stories

White House official stamp.

It will take all of us to end hunger and reduce diet-related diseases and the disparities surrounding them. That’s why the Biden-Harris Administration wants to hear ideas and stories from all Americans. Anti-hunger and nutrition advocates. Food companies. The health care community. Local, state, territory, and Tribal governments. People who’ve experienced the impact of hunger or heart disease or hypertension. Everyone. Your ideas and experiences will help inform a national strategy that will be announced at the White House Conference on Hunger, Nutrition, and Health in September 2022. Below are ways you can share your ideas and stories. The input we receive from each of these avenues will directly inform the national strategy to be released at the Conference.

Host or Attend a Partner-Led Convening

Are you interested in leading a conversation?   We consider each of you to be a partner in this work, so we invite you to host your own convening. For example, a local food policy council can host a convening with its members, a community-based organization can host a convening with its volunteers, or a Member of Congress can host a convening with his/her constituents. We encourage you to engage people who have experience with hunger and/or diet-related disease.

We have created a toolkit to help you host your convening. The toolkit provides instructions for submitting the collective input from your discussion. All of the input provided will directly inform the national strategy to be released at the Conference, so please submit your input by July 15, 2022 to be sure that your ideas are considered.

Share Your Written Ideas and Stories

We want to hear your stories and encourage you to share your experiences with hunger and/or diet-related diseases. All of your ideas and stories will directly inform the national strategy to be released at the Conference, so we encourage you to submit comments by July 15, 2022 to be sure that your ideas are considered. If you have submitted input from a partner-led convening following the instructions in the toolkit linked above, you do not need to submit it here.
