The 2024 Annual Meeting of the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness & Nutrition will be held on September 6, 2024, from 1:30pm to 4:00pm ET, at the Hubert H. Humphrey building in Washington, DC. The meeting will also be viewable via livestream on hhs.gov/live.
The focus of this meeting will be to share highlights from the previous year, present the 2024 Council Awards, and discuss priorities for the future.
The President’s Council on Sports, Fitness & Nutrition is a federal advisory committee that aims to engage, educate, and empower all Americans to adopt a healthy lifestyle that includes regular physical activity and good nutrition. President Biden renewed the Council by Executive Order 14109, which also expanded the Council’s mission to include a focus on mental health as it relates to fitness and nutrition.
Media and members of the public interested in attending can register to attend the meeting virtually or in person. In-person registration closes August 28, 2024.
