By 2060, 1 in 4 Americans will be age 65 or older — which means efforts to help older adults stay healthy are a national priority. That’s why ODPHP and Trust for America’s Health are hosting the free virtual 2021 Healthy Aging Symposium on September 8 and 9 in observance of Healthy Aging Month. Register today!
During the event, national researchers, state and local health officials, and policymakers from across the United States will discuss their work and insights. Attendees will learn about the latest science, best practices, and innovative interventions to improve older Americans’ health and well-being.
The symposium will focus on:
- Sharing the latest research and successful approaches to healthy aging
- Connecting insights and ideas across sectors
- Addressing barriers and reducing health disparities among older Americans
- Building on lessons learned during the COVID-19 pandemic
Policy makers, researchers, and professionals from across sectors – including public health, aging services, healthcare, housing, education, transportation, justice, and recreation – will have the opportunity to connect and learn from each other. If you work to improve the lives of older adults, we hope you can join us. Be sure to register!
