Baseline: 3.4 percent of adults aged 18 years and over with co-occurring substance use disorders and mental health disorders received both mental health care and specialty substance use treatment in 2018
Target: 8.2 percent
Adults with both a mental health and substance use disorder often get treated for one or the other but not both. An approach that treats both disorders together is critical for getting people the care they need.
