Increase the proportion of adults with a history of cardiovascular disease who are using aspirin therapy to prevent recurrent cardiovascular events
Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the United States, and stroke is the fifth leading cause. People who have had ischemic heart disease or ischemic stroke can lower their risk of future recurring heart problems or stroke by taking aspirin every day.
