The Community Preventive Services Task Force (CPSTF) recommends community-wide campaigns to increase physical activity and improve physical fitness. Sometimes they address other cardiovascular disease risk factors, like diet and smoking. CPSTF found that these community-wide campaigns increase physical activity and improve physical fitness in adults and children.
