The Community Preventive Services Task Force recommends behavioral interventions to reduce screen time outside of school in children age 13 years and younger. These interventions use different strategies, like classroom-based education and family-based support. Some of the interventions focus only on reducing screen time, while others also focus on improving physical activity and diet.
