This report presents the results of the Enhanced Transitional Jobs Demonstration, a large-scale research project that looked at transitional jobs programs. These programs offer temporary jobs, subsidized with public funds, that are intended to teach participants basic work skills or help them get started with an employer. The programs included in this project were for people who recently got out of prison or low-income parents who had fallen behind in child support payments.
