In this systematic review, the National Center for Education in Maternal and Child Health identifies evidence-based and evidence-informed strategies that Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Block Grant programs can implement to lower the rate of hospital admissions for non-fatal injury among children and adolescents ages 10 through 19 years.

Prevention strategies range from school-based educational curricula, to safety equipment, to safety guidelines and legislation.
