This report describes recent national health achievements and outlines current threats to public health. The report also describes factors that are likely to impact the U.S. population’s health in the future and provides recommendations addressing them. Specifically, the report addresses the government’s role in promoting and protecting public health. It also describes a framework for how diverse partners and partnerships at multiple levels can support a healthy future for all people.
