ODPHP has partnered with the American Public Health Association (APHA) to offer free continuing medical education (CME) credit for the Pathways to Safer Opioid Use training.
To be eligible for 1 CME credit, you need to:
- Complete the entire physician portion of the training
- Complete the post-test (1 credit) with a passing score of at least 70% — retakes are permitted
To be eligible for 4 CME credits, you need to:
- Complete the entire nurse, patient, pharmacist, and physician portion of the training
- Complete the post-test (4 credits) with a passing score of at least 70% — retakes are permitted
The post-test must be submitted by February 16, 2020 in order to receive credit and obtain a CME certificate.

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint sponsorship of APHA and the Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion. The APHA is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
