In 2015, new data and reports from HHS agencies showed that prevention strategies have contributed to a decline in new cases of diabetes , a continued decline in rates of high total cholesterol, and decreases in adverse drug events, infections and other hospital-acquired conditions in recent years. This is good news for those of us at ODPHP who work on policies and guidelines specifically related to these outcomes.
