The Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research (FSR) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving care for sarcoidosis patients and to finding a cure for this disease. Since establishment in 2000, FSR has worked diligently to provide resources to thousands of patients, their families and their physicians as well as funded several domestic and international research efforts. FSR has a long history of educating consumers and their health care professionals as well as providing direct support to critically needed research. FSR's annual K.I.S.S. (Kick In to Stop SarcoidosisŪ)Awareness Campaign reaches hundreds of thousands with a combination of education events, print articles, televised health reports, and public service announcements.
The Foundation produces Sarcoidosis brochures for patients and professionals as well as press releases and articles about the Foundation, which have appeared in popular publications.
