The Biofeedback Certification Institute of America (BCIA) was created to establish and maintain standards for practitioners who use biofeedback and to certify those who meet these standards. The primary mission of this nonprofit corporation is to protect the public welfare by assuring that practitioners have met basic competency standards and practice according to the Ethical Principles of BCIA. Names of certified practitioners will be provided to the public and other interested professionals.
