Abstract

The American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics and Pedorthics, Inc. (ABC) is the comprehensive credentialing organization for establishing individual and organizational performance standards for the provision of orthotic, prosthetic and pedorthic care and services. Established in 1948, ABC continues to work toward setting clinical standards, furthering professionalism and establishing the orthotics and prosthetics practitioner as a member of the allied health care community. .
