Abstract

The National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (NCCAM) is the Federal Government's lead agency for scientific research on the diverse medical and health care systems, practices, and products that are not generally considered part of conventional medicine. NCCAM is dedicated to exploring complementary and alternative healing practices in the context of rigorous science, training complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) researchers, and disseminating authoritative information to the public and professionals.

Publications

NCCAM publishes brochures, quarterly newsletter, fact sheets, and other publications such as advisories and reports. You may order publications free of charge from the NCCAM Clearinghouse, or you may print copies of publications that are available on the Web site.
