Abstract

Dermatologic surgery is one of the most innovative and progressive medical subspecialties in the U.S. Founded in 1970, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS) and its nearly 5,400 members are at the forefront of the development of safe, in-office procedures that are saving lives by diagnosing and treating potentially deadly skin cancers earlier and more effectively.

Publications

Publications include fact sheets on dermatologic surgery, schlerotherapy for spider and varicose veins, soft tissue fillers, tattoo removal, liposuction surgery and micro lipoinjection, treatment of acne scars, skin cancer, aging and sun-damaged skin, balding, aging eyelids, and genital warts, chemical peel, laser, dermabrasion, and retinoids.
