Abstract

The association raises funds on the national level to provide financial aid for the medical expenses of leukemia patients and funds research to help find the causes of and cures for leukemia. Patient financial aid is available for drugs, lab fees, blood, x-ray therapy, and other expenses not covered by insurance. Patients applying for aid must submit applications and letters of diagnosis from their doctors.
