DES Action is a national nonprofit organization formed to provide the public with information on the consequences of the use of diethylstilbestrol (DES) for women who have taken it and for children born to these women. They offer information and resources for DES-exposed mothers, daughters, sons, and grandchildren who may need special health care. In addition to publishing educational materials relating to DES, the organization provides a list of gynecologists who are familiar with the potential medical complications resulting from DES use.
Publications
DES Action publishes a newsletter four times a year that is free to members ($40 annually). It has updates on research, and medical information for protecting the health of mothers, daughters, sons and grandchildren who were exposed to DES.
