Abstract

America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) is the national association representing nearly 1,300 member companies providing health insurance coverage to more than 200 million Americans. Members include companies offer medical insurance, long-term care insurance, disability income insurance, dental insurance, supplemental insurance, stop-loss insurance and reinsurance to consumers, employers and public purchasers. A major policy goal for members is to expand access to high quality, affordable coverage to all Americans. AHIP offers consumer information and guidance on available health coverage for individuals and families.

Publications

Booklets, pamphlets, reports, and educational materials on health insurance, trends in the industry and health care financing are available for general distribution and at cost. Publications include: Source Book of Health Insurance Data and Research Bulletins.
